Faisal Rizvi’s arguments, art of cross-examination and strong grasp of legal intricacies in a court of law have made him one of the most respected legal luminaries of Chhattisgarh.
From an early age, Rizvi exhibited a keen sense of observation and a natural inclination toward law. His interest in social issues and legal awareness shaped his personality.
Understanding the importance of nurturing the next generation of lawyers, Rizvi, in memory of his father, has distributed over 10,000 books on the Indian Penal Code (renamed as Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)) and the Constitution to law students.

Rizvi, who hails from an educated and cultured family, opted for legal studies after completing his schooling. In 1995, he completed his LL.B. from CLC College, Raipur, and pursued an LL.M. During his academic journey, he developed a deep understanding of court functioning, judicial procedures, and the nuances of the Constitution.
While studying law, he immersed himself in understanding judicial perspectives, constitutional principles, and the workings of society and administration.
After completing his law degree, he began his legal practice in the Raipur courts. Known for his factual approach to cases, Faisal Rizvi’s reputation grew steadily as a lawyer who always based his arguments on truth and evidence.
Rizvi has been a member of the Chhattisgarh State Bar Council for 25 years now. In 2002, he was first elected as a member of the Bar Council of India, and since then, he has held significant positions such as Vice President and General Secretary.
His greatest strength lies in the art of cross-examination. In courtrooms, his sharp questions and logical reasoning often unsettle the opposition. Over the years, he has handled cases ranging from murder, robbery, financial crimes, and cybercrime to Naxal-related matters.
