Tauqeer Raza embodies a rare blend of political activism, entrepreneurship, sportsmanship, and cultural pursuit; he stands out as a leader in Chhattisgarh's public life whose hand is on the pulse of the people. He is widely recognised as the BJP’s state spokesperson, a sharp debater, a successful entrepreneur, a sports and music enthusiast, and a committed social worker.

What sets him apart is his ability to advance society, politics, and business with equal commitment. He has focused on issues such as education, healthcare, and employment, with special attention to integrating youth into mainstream society.

Today, Tauqeer Raza remains actively engaged in all three spheres, exemplifying perseverance, dedication, and public service. Known for his approachable nature, he is readily accessible to the public and party workers alike.

Tauqeer Raza, 52, showed leadership qualities and a drive to chart his own path from an early age. Alongside his studies, he excelled in sports and cultural activities.

After completing his education, he entered the business world in 2000. Through hard work and integrity, he achieved remarkable success, expanding across several sectors and gradually establishing his ventures throughout the state.

His most notable accomplishment came in the packaged milk industry. However, he did not view business merely as a means of profit — he integrated it with social responsibility, providing employment to local youth, mentoring small traders, and supporting various social causes.

Joining the BJP marked the beginning of Tauqeer Raza’s political journey. His practical working style and simplicity earned him recognition within the party.

Known for strengthening grassroots organisations and building public connections, he has consistently treated politics as a platform for service rather than power.

He served as mandal convener in the BJP’s trade cell, later advancing to district and state-level roles as a special invitee, energising the business community and linking them with the party. He has also contributed to party work in Odisha and Uttar Pradesh.

Tauqeer Raza became a primary member of the BJP in 1994, at a time of personal family crisis. His father’s kidneys failed, and despite his mother donating one, his father eventually passed away.

He assumed the responsibilities of taking care of the family. He continued his studies while working in a private enterprise. He turned a loss-making unit into a profit-making centre and was the manager. He worked for five years in the Bastar area and later returned to Raipur and set up his business.

Today, he is a respected entrepreneur in the transport sector. The hallmark of his business is its social commitment by employing youth and mentoring small entrepreneurs.

Another rally followed in 2018 in memory of martyred police officer Yugal Kishore Verma, across the forests of Malaida to Khairagarh and culminating at the Chief Minister’s residence, where then-CM Raman Singh praised the initiative.

His key achievements include being appointed a member of the State Minority Commission, touring every district to coordinate with collectors and resolve issues faced by Jain, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, and Buddhist communities, successfully leading anti-Naxal rallies appealing to militants to renounce violence, serving as BJP state spokesperson participating in over 4,200 TV debates, and hosting a large public awareness programme on cyber security at Raipur Medical College auditorium attended by more than 1,400 youth.
