Superstar Mahesh Babu has heaped praise on Dhurandhar: The Revenge, calling it a “standing ovation-worthy” cinematic experience and applauding its performances and execution.

Taking to social media, Mahesh Babu described the film as a high-impact entertainer, highlighting Ranveer Singh’s performance as one of the finest of his career. He also commended director Aditya Dhar for his vision and execution, along with praising R. Madhavan for his role and Shashwat Sachdev for the film’s music.

Earlier, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma described the sequel as a “cinematic disruptor,” suggesting it marks a shift in audience preference away from formula-driven Bollywood films.

Released on March 19, 2026, the spy thriller—headlined by Ranveer Singh—has opened to a strong response, reportedly crossing Rs 100 crore globally on its first day. The film is a sequel to the 2025 hit Dhurandhar and has been widely appreciated for its grounded storytelling and controlled action sequences.
