Edubuk, an emerging player in AI and blockchain-based hiring solutions, has secured a strategic investment commitment of $50 million from Nimbus Capital.

Founded by Apoorva Bajaj and Shivani Mehrotra, the startup aims to address challenges related to credential fraud and inefficient verification systems, an issue it estimates affects hundreds of millions of professional profiles globally.

The company is preparing to launch its $EBUK reward token as part of its broader plan to build a decentralised and verifiable hiring ecosystem.

At the centre of its offerings is TruCV, a blockchain-based platform designed to create tamper-proof digital resumes integrated with DigiLocker for faster credential authentication. It also operates TruJobs, an AI-driven system intended to match job seekers with employers more efficiently.

According to the company, it has already completed over 100,000 on-chain verifications and is expanding its presence across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

Edubuk has also received recognition from various global platforms and institutions, including G20-linked forums and academic bodies.
