CM Bhajanlal Sharma flags off 207 new buses on occasion of Rajasthan Diwas 2026

Bhajanlal Sharma marked the Rajasthan Diwas 2026 celebrations by flagging off 207 new buses at the Ajmer Road Bus Terminal in Jaipur on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the state government is committed to advancing its vision of a “Viksit Rajasthan.” He extended greetings to the people on Rajasthan Foundation Day as well as the Hindu New Year.

In a post on X, Sharma highlighted that the introduction of the new buses would enhance connectivity between rural and urban areas while contributing to the state’s overall development. He said the initiative aims to strengthen, modernise, and improve the safety of public transport services.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister attended a state-level cultural programme held at the historic Albert Hall Museum as part of the celebrations. The event featured vibrant performances by folk artists, showcasing Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage. A short film outlining the achievements of the state government was also screened on the occasion.

Sharing his experience on social media, Sharma said the performances brought the state’s traditions to life and described the event as a celebration of unity and cultural vibrancy. He added that the programme reflected Rajasthan’s enduring folk legacy and extended his greetings to the people once again on the occasion.
