In Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma flagged off 207 new buses from the Ajmer Road Bus Terminal on Thursday as part of the Rajasthan Diwas celebrations.
Addressing the gathering, Sharma extended greetings on Rajasthan Foundation Day and the Hindu New Year, stating that the state government is committed to the vision of a “Viksit Rajasthan.” He emphasised that the new fleet will enhance connectivity between urban and rural areas while contributing to the state’s overall development.
Later, in a message shared on X, the chief minister said the initiative aims to strengthen, modernise and make public transport safer for residents, adding that it would play a key role in accelerating progress across the state.
Participated in the Annual Meeting session of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) - Gujarat and had an engaging interaction with the industry leaders on ‘Gujarat @ $1 Trillion Economy by 2030’.

Earlier in the day, Sharma attended a state-level cultural programme held at the historic Albert Hall Museum. The event showcased Rajasthan’s vibrant traditions through folk performances, while a short film highlighting the government’s achievements was also screened.

Describing the programme as a celebration of the state’s cultural richness, Sharma said such events reflect Rajasthan’s unity and enduring heritage, and once again conveyed his greetings to the people on the occasion.
