Indore
Mohan Yadav on Thursday said the government will take necessary measures after an expert investigation into the deadly house fire in Indore that claimed eight lives.
The chief minister visited the bereaved family of the victims and expressed his condolences following the tragic incident, which occurred on Wednesday at the residence of businessman Manoj Pugalia in the city’s Brajeshwari Annex Colony.
According to police, the fire is suspected to have originated from an explosion in an electric car parked outside the house while it was being charged. The flames quickly spread, engulfing the entire building.
Among those killed were Pugalia, his daughter-in-law Simran, and six other relatives, including two children.
Yadav said senior officials from Bhopal had been immediately dispatched to the site after news of the incident emerged. He described the tragedy as deeply distressing and assured that a detailed probe by experts would be conducted.
