Kevin O’Leary, who stars alongside Timothée Chalamet in the highly anticipated film Marty Supreme, opened up about how the young actor manages his meteoric rise to fame.
Best known for his role on Shark Tank, O’Leary spoke to PEOPLE during the annual BAFTA Tea about his experience working with Chalamet and observing how he handles the pressures of superstardom.
O’Leary praised Chalamet for staying grounded despite his success. “He’s very well-grounded. A completely normal guy,” said the 71-year-old actor.
He also highlighted the influence of Chalamet’s family and discipline on his career. “I’ve met his mother and spent time with her in New York. He is very focused on his work, making sure he nails it before moving on. None of the stardom has changed him; he’s the same person I met eight months ago,” O’Leary added.
