Chinese smartphone maker Oppo appears to be preparing the next expansion of its K-series lineup, as the upcoming Oppo K14 Turbo and Oppo K14 Turbo Pro have surfaced on a Chinese certification platform. The new listings not only hint at an imminent launch but also reveal key specifications and design elements of the anticipated devices.

According to details spotted on the TENAA database, two Oppo smartphones bearing model numbers PMH110 and PMG110 are believed to be the K14 Turbo series. While tipster Anvinraj Valiyathara suggests these correspond to the Turbo and Turbo Pro variants, there is also speculation that the devices could eventually be marketed under a slightly different naming scheme.

The listings indicate that both smartphones may feature a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by an 8-megapixel secondary lens. For selfies and video calls, the devices are expected to include a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

In terms of performance, the standard Oppo K14 Turbo is likely to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset with a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz. The Pro variant, on the other hand, could arrive with a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, reportedly clocked at 3.73GHz, positioning it as a stronger performer in the mid-range segment.

Battery capacity appears to be a major highlight of the series. The base model is expected to house a 7,400mAh battery (rated at 7265mAh), while the Pro version could pack a slightly larger 7,800mAh unit (rated at 7760mAh), suggesting extended usage and improved endurance.

Display specifications also differ between the two models. The standard variant may feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with high resolution and support for a wide colour gamut, while the Pro model is tipped to offer a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with similar visual capabilities.

Both devices are expected to come equipped with essential sensors, including proximity, light, and gravity sensors, along with an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. The Oppo K14 Turbo could offer up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, whereas the Pro model might be limited to 12GB RAM with the same storage capacity.

Design-wise, the K14 Turbo series is likely to feature a flat rear panel with a square-shaped camera module and branding placed at the bottom. The phones may also include a flat frame with power and volume buttons positioned on the right side.

While an official launch date has not been confirmed, the Oppo K14 Turbo series is expected to debut in the coming weeks, with more details likely to emerge soon.
