Realme appears to be gearing up for the launch of its next T-series smartphone, the Realme 16T, which has now surfaced on Geekbench ahead of its official debut. The benchmark listing reveals several key hardware details and hints that the upcoming model may deliver slightly lower performance than the Realme 15T launched last year.
The device was spotted with model number RMX5268, widely believed to belong to the Realme 16T. According to the listing, the smartphone runs Android 16 and is equipped with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It was tested with around 8GB RAM, though the benchmark platform displays 7.45GB usable memory.
On Geekbench, the handset recorded a single-core score of 784 and a multi-core score of 2,007. The chipset details point toward the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, featuring two performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz alongside six efficiency cores running at 2.00GHz.
If the Realme 16T indeed arrives with the Dimensity 6300, it could represent a performance downgrade from the Realme 15T, which was powered by the more capable MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max chipset. The older processor offered a slightly faster prime core speed of up to 2.50GHz.
Reports suggest the Realme 16T may be positioned below the standard Realme 16, which is expected to feature the Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset.
Leaked details indicate the upcoming smartphone could launch in three configurations — 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. Colour options tipped for the Indian market include Aurora Green, Starlight Black, and Starlight Red.

For comparison, the Realme 15T debuted in India in September last year at a starting price of Rs. 20,999. The smartphone featured a 6.57-inch AMOLED display, a 50MP dual rear camera setup, and a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
It also packed a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 60W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. Additionally, the device carried IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
