Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's powerful on-screen transformation in Alpha has become one of the film's biggest talking points. Their fitness trainers have now shared insights into the demanding preparation, revealing that the actors underwent an intensive training programme that lasted for more than a year.

Fitness experts Karan Sawhney and Robin Behl recently spoke about crafting customised routines for the two actors while they balanced packed filming schedules. According to the trainers, Alia and Sharvari often spent 10 to 12 hours on set, making it essential to create a programme that built strength without compromising recovery.

The trainers explained that the objective was never limited to achieving a toned appearance. Instead, the focus was on developing functional strength, mobility and endurance so the actors could convincingly perform physically demanding action sequences.

Preparation began with a structured strength-building phase before gradually progressing to advanced conditioning exercises. As training evolved, specialised skills required for the film's action choreography were introduced to ensure both actors could move naturally and confidently during combat scenes.

Beyond conventional gym workouts, the programme also incorporated martial arts training and weapon-handling practice, making the preparation more comprehensive. The trainers described the process as a long-term commitment that extended well beyond regular fitness sessions.
